New Patient Paperwork
When you call to schedule your appointment at Peters Family Chiropractic Center, we will send you a link so you can complete our new patient paperwork before you come in. Some patients like to drop by and pick up the forms and take them home to complete ahead of time, rather than using online forms. Either way, it is fine with us!
Your First Visit
At your first visit, you’ll be greeted by our friendly, engaging front desk staff. They will answer any questions you have, help with insurance, and in general go out of their way to make you feel comfortable and right at home. Patients often stop by just to sit and visit for a few minutes, even when they don’t have an appointment, because of our welcoming, family atmosphere.
Next, you’ll meet with your chiropractor, who will listen as you describe what’s been going on with your health. They’ll explain what subluxations are and let you know how chiropractic care may be able to help you. Then they’ll do a thorough examination and, in many cases, take X-rays. You’ll receive your first adjustment at this visit. We suggest planning for about one hour for this visit.
Your Second Visit
At your second visit, your chiropractor will go over your X-rays and explain their findings, letting you know how we may help and lay out our recommendations for care. Our front desk staff will discuss the financial arrangements, including your insurance coverage, and then we’ll begin your care plan at this visit. This visit typically takes about 30 minutes.
Follow-up Visits
Regular visits are about 5-10 minutes. Once we’ve resolved your initial problem, we encourage patients to continue with wellness care. We explain that it’s cheaper to change the oil in your car regularly than replace the engine later on. Your body is the same. Regular chiropractic care can keep you running optimally for the long haul.
